Reshaping Teeth

This patient came to us with missing teeth next to their two front teeth, a retained baby tooth, and canines in the wrong position. We transformed their smile by removing the baby tooth, straightening the teeth with clear aligners, and using composite bonding to reshape the canines to look like natural teeth. To complete the transformation, we fitted a temporary Maryland adhesive bridge to fill the gap until the patient is ready for an implant.

Gummy Smile and Small Teeth

This patient was unhappy with her front teeth as they appeared small, sloped back, and showed excess gum when smiling. Using clear aligners, we corrected the bite and tooth angle, making her teeth more upright and reducing the 'gummy' smile. Afterward, we enhanced the shape and colour of her teeth with whitening and composite bonding.The result? A beautifully aligned, brighter, and more confident smile.

Edge Bonding

We used natural edge bonding on the teeth next to the front ones to increase their length and make the canines look less prominent. Edge bonding is a subtle way to enhance the appearance of teeth without making them look bulky or artificial.This was done in a single visit with no drilling or injections.

The Treatment Process

Step 01

Composite Bonding Consultation & Smile Preview

Composite bonding, or tooth bonding, starts with a dental exam, gum health check, X-rays if needed, shade analysis, plus a preview of your potential results. We’ll then provide a treatment plan with options, costs, timelines, and any risks and benefits.
Step 02

Preparation Of Teeth

After assessing the health of your smile for dental bonding, we start by applying a bonding agent to your tooth. This agent ensures the composite resin adheres well, creating a strong and lasting bond.

Step 03

Resin Application

Next, we apply the tooth-coloured composite resin to your tooth. This resin is then carefully sculpted to address issues like cracks, gaps, or small teeth. We mould it to match the natural shape and contour of your tooth.

Step 04

Hardening The Resin

Once we’re happy with the shape and appearance, we use a special curing light to harden the resin. This light quickly solidifies the resin, making the fix immediate and durable.

Step 05

Shaping & Polishing

Finally, we make any necessary adjustments to ensure your bite is comfortable and the bonded tooth looks perfect. The area is polished to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, giving it a smooth, shiny finish.
